Our Programs Futher Excellence
The Tustin Public Schools Foundation funds, offers and organizes a variety of programs that foster and celebrate educational excellence. From after-school sports for middle school students to summer enrichment courses. TPSF strives to further excellence in Tustin Unified Schools.
Tustin Summer Academy
The Tustin Summer Academy is a summer enrichment program designed, written and taught by the best credentialed Tustin Unified teachers. Classes are small, and offer original, challenging, and fun curriculum meant to expand knowledge and nurture creativity and curiosity. These exciting offerings are all about making learning fun - no homework, no tests, no grades! Classes are designed for students entering Kindergarten through High School.
The Tustin Public Schools Foundation strives to do more for Tustin Unified students.
TPSF Grants support projects that enhance student learning.
During the 2021-2022 school year the Foundation was able to fund 90 grants requested by TUSD teachers and principal-directed projects for all schools. Grants touched all levels of education from realistic suture kits for high school science students to reading circle resources for Kindergarteners.
After School Sports
The Foundation's After School Sports Initiative provides funds for an after-school sports program at all seven TUSD middle schools. Thanks to generous community donations, students at Columbus Tustin, Sycamore, Hewes, Legacy Magnet Academy, Pioneer, Utt, and Orchard Hills Middle Schools have the opportunity to participate in organized intramural sports.
