The Tustin Public Schools Foundation is excited to announce the Dinosaur Dash Logo contest celebrating Dinosaur Dash 2026! The contest is open to all Middle and High School students in the Tustin Unified School District. The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize of $500, with a matching $500 prize to the school’s art teacher/department for educational materials. In addition, the student's name will be used in this year’s Dinosaur Dash publicity.

What is Dinosaur Dash? Dino Dash is a fun run, walk, and bike ride annual event with over 7,000 participants. Funds are raised that will go directly back to important programs in TUSD schools. The 35th Dino Dash (XXXV) will take place on Sunday, November 1st.

General rules for the contest:
​
1. Entries must use the dinosaur theme and should not include text except for “XXXV”, representing the year of the Dino Dash (optional).
2. The design:

LOGO MUST BE SQUARE.

Only original artwork is accepted. No AI generated art.

Minimum size 5” X 5". Maximum size 10” X 10".

Bold colors are preferred.

Solid colors (not blended)
-
Up to 4 colors, black and white do not count as a color.

If computer generated, logo should be created as a vector eps file.

Submissions should be jpg and if chosen, then submit a vector eps file.
3. Design entries must be submitted no later than February 28, 2026.
4. The Tustin Public Schools Foundation reserves the right to alter the colors and design of the winning logo for printing and artistic purposes.
Sarah's original graphic was selected from hundreds of applications from secondary students across the District. Her fun and fierce dashing dinosaur will be seen on posters, tee shirts, social media, race bibs, flyers, digital and print materials, backpacks and tee shirts for thousands. Look for your personal merch available soon at our Dash Store.

In 2025, Balfour Beatty returned as our Title Sponsor, My Private Professor continued their sponsorship of the 5K Run and Energy Systems Group sponsored the popular 2K Fun Run. More than 10,000 community members were a part of the event. There are opportunities to run, walk, ride, volunteer, sponsor, or provide a Runnership. In addition to our events the family-friendly Expo and tasty Food Court.
RUNNERS CIRCLE
IMAGINE HOW IT FEELS TO FINISH THE RACE!
The Runners Circle was established to cover Dinosaur Dash entry fees for TUSD students who would otherwise be financially unable to participate in the event with the rest of their school. When you become a member of the Runners Circle, you will help 20 worthy TUSD students join in the Dinosaur Dash by providing each of them a "runnership" valued at $20 (your total commitment: $400).

Last year, generous donations of runnerships helped nearly 500 children join the fun with their friends from school. Imagine what we can do this year with your help!
