Golden Touch Awards
After a decade-long absence, the Golden Touch Awards were revived at the urging of Hillview Principal Tim O’Donohue to recognize outstanding teachers and staff from Tustin Unified high schools who make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their school communities.
What makes the Golden Touch Awards especially meaningful is that students nominate the teachers and staff members who have made a positive impact on their lives. Principals review the nominations and select one teacher and one staff member from each campus to receive the award.
The 2026 Golden Touch Award honorees and the students who nominated them were celebrated at a special breakfast on December 1 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club, hosted by TPSF and our Presenting Sponsors.
Honestly, for a staff member, this is the best award to be given because it comes from the students. For about 7 years I had wanted to bring the program back, and TPSF made it a reality.
